In celebration of 150 years of Liberty, ‘From the Studio’ for AW25 stands as a testament to the enduring legacy of the London design house. Paying homage to the dedicated artisanship that Liberty has been renowned for since the opening of its Regent Street flagship in 1875, this collection explores the creatives who have shaped the story so far. Divided into three distinct narratives – Craftsmanship, Collaboration, and Collectibles – ‘From the Studio’ unveils design sketches and archival studies, shedding light on Liberty ’s innovative artistic practice. This collection reveals the journey from inspiration through drawing, painting, and experimenting with digital artwork to the final printed textile.

Looking back to Liberty's 1887 childrenswear department and the enduring charm of smocked dresses from that era, this unusual pattern is a fresh take on our beloved classic, Elysian.  Delicate diamond-shaped stitches create a series of textured pleats and folds, creating the illusion of a beautifully nostalgic floral fabric gathered into a garment.

Liberty Tana Lawn is a fabric built by obsession, perfected into a modern masterpiece of production through a bespoke process that has evolved over a century. Printed in Liberty's own Liberty Printing Mill in northern Italy, Tana realises unmatchable fluidity with a silk-like touch, unique print quality and striking colour vibrancy.
