SEE PROJECT IN ISSUE 16 JULY/AUG 'MAKE IT TODAY' DRESSMAKER MAGAZINE
Luxurious tana lawn from Liberty of London. This fabric is gorgeously soft and drapes beautifully. This vibrant geometric print reminds me of the 1960's! Pinks, oranges, ochre and greys - a real 'statement' fabric, quilting or any sewing project.
Attached is an image of a top in this fabric made by the lovely Brenda. She says that the print makes her feel happy everytime she wears it.
Also attached is a super Sarong Skirt which the also lovely Yvonne has made. Yvonne has then gone on to use up some of the leftover pieces of fabric to subtly face this super classic plain cordrouy dress, bringing it together with a handmade corsage. So often 'less is more' with Liberty fabrics.
