Suitable fabrics to use would be good quality cotton furnishing fabrics in co-ordinating colours are ideal, but you could also use a soft denim, corduroy, tweed or even velvet for a luxurious feel.

The Liberty Kingly needlecord or the Michael Miller cottons on this website would be ideal.

Materials needed: One pair of bag handles approx 20cm wide by 15 cm high (8" x 6"); 50cm (20") of 1M (39") wide cotton fabric; 50cm (20") of 1M (39") wide contrast lining fabric; Matching thread.
