Iphis, a modern interpretation of our iconic classic Ianthe, was the inspiration behind this perfectly composed, structured botanical. The dynamic monogram which became synonymous with the Liberty brand now makes a modern comeback, to mark more than ten years of product design and innovation. Like the violets that possibly inspired its name, Ianthe reflowers for each new generation, seamlessly merging contemporary aesthetics with Liberty’s rich Art Nouveau heritage. This print is part of the anniversary collection’s final chapter, Collectibles. Offering a design for each decade, this timeline of hero prints encapsulates 150 years - exploring the design house’s varied and influential handwriting while honouring key moments of creativity and discovery.

Liberty Fabrics’ Classics collection started in 1979, created to champion the most well-known and iconic designs from the Liberty archive all year around.
