Hot Patterns have designed this for medium or lightweight knits with a little
stretch and a lot of drape; think modal, bamboo, burnouts, rayon
or silk(y) jersey.
Tie-to-fit pull-on top is cut in one piece, and has an off-center pleated
front boat neck which sits off the right shoulder; the back neckline
merges into the short center back seam, which then opens from
the mid-back to the hem.
Top has a choice of cut-on cap or just-below-elbow-length sleeves
and ties closed at the back waist with a contrast ribbon. If you are
using a lightweight or semi-sheer knit, or you just prefer a little
more coverage, we suggest wearing a simple knit cami underneath.
Make this simple but ultra-cool piece in a classic stripe, a solid colored
knit or one of your favorite prints-this gorgeous top will add an
unexpected edge to a simple pant or skirt, and it’s the perfect choice
for a chic warm weather or evening look.
