The Cambie Dress is a fitted, fully lined dress with a gorgeous sweetheart neckline and flattring built-in cap sleeves. Great when you want the coverage of a sleeve but the comfort of a sleeveless dress!
This dress is designed with a pear-shaped figure in mind. Cap sleeves draw attention to the shoulders, while the narrow waistband highlights the waist.
Your choice of classic A-line skirt or full gathered skirt. View A has a slim A-line skirt with slash pockets and View B has a full gathered skirt with inseam pockets. Sizing is proportioned for a pear-shaped figure: smaller bust and waist, larger hips.
Skill level: Intermediate
Recommended Fabrics: View A: Light to medium weight woven fabrics such as linen, wool blends, cotton sateen. View B: Lightweight woven fabrics such as cotton voile, swiss dot, rayon challis, or silk dupioni. Allow extra fabric to match plaids or stripes.
Notions: Thread, 1.1metres of fusible interfacing, one 55cm invisible zipper.
