Tote features drawstring closure with a zippered top inside and a side gathered pocket; Shoulder Bag features a zippered top and is panelled with bow trim on the front and a pocket on the back. Both bags are lined and feature optional phone & zippered pockets and handbag feet.
Skill Level: Intermediate
Yardage Requirements: Tote needs around 1/2 yard each of 60" wide printed fabric, plus 1/4 yard solid fabric. Tote also requires 1/2 yard of 60" wide lining, 1 x 14" zipper for the internal pocket, 8" of 1/2" wide elastic, and 4 handbag feet. If you are mounting/interfacing your Tote, you will need 1 yard of 36" wide firm mount fabric/interfacing. You may wish to use a rigid bag bottom insert.
Shoulder Bag needs around 1/4 yard each of 60" wide printed, contrast and solid fabric, and 1/2 yard of 60" wide lining. Shoulder Bag also needs 2 x 1 1/2" rings, 1 x 10" zipper and 1 x 6" zipper for the internal pocket. If you are mounting/interfacing your Tote, you will need 1/2 yard of 36" wide firm mount fabric/interfacing.
All yardages are for 60” wide fabric.
