High waisted straight skirt provides a very flattering shape with paneled styling: not too loose or too tight around the hips, with a very fitted waist. Buttons up the front, has side seam pockets, and includes a self tie belt, which can be swapped out for your own narrow belts. Skirt has a faced waist, button placket and full lining.

Sizes 0 to 18 (American sizes - approximately equivalent to UK sizes 4-22).

Note this pattern calls for twill tape to reinforce the waist - seam binding can be used for this, see "You May Also be Interested in..." below

Suggested Fabrics:	Medium to medium-heavy weight fabrics such as cottons, gabardine, wool tweed, suiting. For lining, lightweight such as silk or acetate.
Materials Required:	Shell fabric; contrast fabric; mediumweight fusible interfacing; thread; 12 0.75" buttons
