It’s give-away time!
To celebrate the launch of the new collection of fabrics at Sewbox, which you can read about here or view here, I am giving away 2 metres of Liberty fabric of your choice, and running the competition in conjunction with The Sewing Directory.
To enter, all you need to do is add a comment below this blog entry or on the Sewing Directory’s blog telling us which of the Liberty fabrics in the Sewbox shop you would like to win – you can browse the Liberty fabric collection here.
You can also gain two BONUS entries, by tweeting / retweeting about the competition (make sure you include @sewbox or @thesewingdirectory in the tweet so that we know about your entry) and also by blogging about the competition (and don’t forget to add a comment below telling me that you have, so that I include your bonus entry).
The competition will close at 6pm on Tuesday 14th September. You might want to subscribe to this blog by RSS or e-mail to check if you’re a winner. And yes, I’m happy to ship worldwide so get those international entries coming in! Good luck!

It would have to be the Busy Bouquet tana lawn to make a Sencha blouse! I love those spooky faces and hands entangled in the floral print ; 0
I would choose the Liberty jersey in November, then I could make something for both my children
Too much choice but I think it would be the Crepe de Chine in January
Oh how I love fabrics that evoke Henry Darger Paintings! “Busy Bouquet” is my cup of tea. This also reminds me of everything I love about Autumn. Toasty, cosy, muddy magnificence. Thanks for offering such a lovely competition.
The Oyster silk satin is so beautiful, if I won that’s what I would like. I haven’t got a specific project in mind but I’d find something just lovely for it!
The Snug Beach is my favourite.
RT’d @missielizzieb too
Absolutely love the Liberty Silk Crepe de Chine – Eve!! It’s gorgeous and goes without saying that winning 2 mtrs of it would take me to the moon and back.
I would love to make myself a skirt with the Silk crepe de chine January Paisley. It looks gorgeous. What an exciting giveaway!
so that took forever so hard to decide but it’s the hands within the flowers that swayed me!! thanx for your kindness in offering such a fab giveaway xx

They are all so pretty but it would have to be Liberty Poplin Strawberry meadow
Hi there, I was first going to choose the Cranford until I had a closer look and all the faces freaked me out!
My final choice would have to be the Rayharryhausen but what a difficult choice.
What a fab competition, I got the link from Ali ant very berry. I would love the Liberty Tana Lawn – Busy Bouquet, it would make me a stunning skirt!
Liberty jersey ‘Maurice’ is my favourite colourway… I love the roses in silvery greys and black. Would love to win this competition and get back into making my own clothes.
I just love the jersey in Maurice, the colours are great and it would make a fab wrap dress for the winter!! I can just see myself in it already……
I also blogged this http://fairyfacedesigns.blogspot.com/2010/09/liberty-fabrics.html
I love the Liberty silk satin in January Paisley, perfect for a silky shirt and such a lovely rich colour.
They are all gorgeous, as are most of the fabrics and patterns on your site. I only discovered it this weekend and am so happy that I did! I’d love to use Liberty Silk Satin – January Paisley – 02309261A to make the Bel Air Hot patterns silky pyjamas! Please let it be me. Great site by the way.
Spoilt for choice! I think I’d go for NOVEMBER. I’ve a vintage dress pattern crying out for some fabulous patterned jersey.

I’d love the Snug Beach if I win.
Tricky one, but think Ezetie is my favourite in the grey.
I love the Liberty jersey Maurice. I would love this to be the fabric for my first ‘proper’ dress made after practicing sewing patterns on bed sheets. I’ve still a way to go.
I am putting the competition info on my blog. Thanks.
Hi I love the Ezetie fabric… I love Jersey fabrics and have a lovely dress pattern just waiting for some fabric! Thanks

My absolute favourite is Liberty Silk Satin – Oyster. Thanks for a really great giveaway!
Love the giveaway, love the fabrics, was hard to choose a favourite but it has to be Liberty Jersey – Ezetie. Sooo lovely!!
Liberty Crepe – Bridgets – great fabrics
What a great give away. After much thought I’d probably go for the poplin Gillbenwell or maybe Roderick, it’s tough with so many nice choices.
I love the Grand Royall print, especially with the winter approaching, can just imagine a nice bright garment to see me through!
Just to say I’ve just blogged about the give-away too http://sewquine.blogspot.com/2010/09/sew-box-give-away.html
My favorite fabric has to be Liberty Silk Satin – Mabelle Hall – AMAZING! Thanks for the great giveaway!
Ooh, it would have to be Rhian poplin, that is gorgeous. Although snug beach is a close 2nd for me. And the jersey is extremely tempting as I’ve never seen Liberty’s jerseys before!! But…I’ll stick with Rhian if I must. Thanks!
Can I say, all of them? If I had to pick one, I’d say the Grand Royall Poplin – not only do I love the print, but the color is beautiful as well.
I love the Liberty Tana Lawn in Cranford. It would be perfect for a blouse.
I think I like: Liberty Silk Satin – Mabelle Hall – 02309269C, the best. It would make a wonderful lining to the colette lady grey I’m planning to sew. OR maybe a lovely slinky dress…
wow! what a great giveaway
My favorite is the Silk Suki Ella. I love the mixture of muted colors with a bit of pop. Thanks for a great giveaway.
Liberty Poplin – Strawberry Meadow would be devine!
Maurice Liberty Jersey for me please! Thanks for the chance to win!
