Give-away time: Win 2 metres of Liberty fabric

by Leah Taylor on September 7, 2010

It’s give-away time!

To celebrate the launch of the new collection of fabrics at Sewbox, which you can read about here or view here, I am giving away 2 metres of Liberty fabric of your choice, and running the competition in conjunction with The Sewing Directory.

To enter, all you need to do is add a comment below this blog entry or on the Sewing Directory’s blog telling us which of the Liberty fabrics in the Sewbox shop you would like to win – you can browse the Liberty fabric collection here.

You can also gain two BONUS entries, by tweeting / retweeting about the competition (make sure you include @sewbox or @thesewingdirectory in the tweet so that we know about your entry) and also by blogging about the competition (and don’t forget to add a comment below telling me that you have, so that I include your bonus entry).

The competition will close at 6pm on Tuesday 14th September. You might want to subscribe to this blog by RSS or e-mail to check if you’re a winner. And yes, I’m happy to ship worldwide so get those international entries coming in! Good luck!

It would have to be the Busy Bouquet tana lawn to make a Sencha blouse! I love those spooky faces and hands entangled in the floral print ; 0

Lisa September 7, 2010 at 4:52 pm

I would choose the Liberty jersey in November, then I could make something for both my children :)

Bridget September 7, 2010 at 6:47 pm

Too much choice but I think it would be the Crepe de Chine in January

Sarah Scace September 7, 2010 at 6:49 pm

Oh how I love fabrics that evoke Henry Darger Paintings! “Busy Bouquet” is my cup of tea. This also reminds me of everything I love about Autumn. Toasty, cosy, muddy magnificence. Thanks for offering such a lovely competition.

Roisin September 7, 2010 at 7:49 pm

The Oyster silk satin is so beautiful, if I won that’s what I would like. I haven’t got a specific project in mind but I’d find something just lovely for it!

They are all gorgeous, as are most of the fabrics and patterns on your site. I only discovered it this weekend and am so happy that I did! I’d love to use Liberty Silk Satin – January Paisley – 02309261A to make the Bel Air Hot patterns silky pyjamas! Please let it be me. Great site by the way.

Liberty Crepe – Bridgets – great fabrics

Nikki September 11, 2010 at 2:21 pm

What a great give away. After much thought I’d probably go for the poplin Gillbenwell or maybe Roderick, it’s tough with so many nice choices.

jo Mcintyre September 11, 2010 at 3:04 pm

I love the Grand Royall print, especially with the winter approaching, can just imagine a nice bright garment to see me through!

My favorite fabric has to be Liberty Silk Satin – Mabelle Hall – AMAZING! Thanks for the great giveaway!

Sarah September 11, 2010 at 4:39 pm

Ooh, it would have to be Rhian poplin, that is gorgeous. Although snug beach is a close 2nd for me. And the jersey is extremely tempting as I’ve never seen Liberty’s jerseys before!! But…I’ll stick with Rhian if I must. Thanks!

Stacy September 11, 2010 at 4:40 pm

Can I say, all of them? If I had to pick one, I’d say the Grand Royall Poplin – not only do I love the print, but the color is beautiful as well.

Kestrel September 11, 2010 at 4:50 pm

I love the Liberty Tana Lawn in Cranford. It would be perfect for a blouse.

Emelie September 11, 2010 at 4:51 pm

I think I like: Liberty Silk Satin – Mabelle Hall – 02309269C, the best. It would make a wonderful lining to the colette lady grey I’m planning to sew. OR maybe a lovely slinky dress…
