New Cake Patterns from Australia being stocked at Sewbox – Tiramisu Knit Dress

Cake Patterns are sewable, wearable basics for busy women – always with pockets!  The Tiramisu Dress is the first offering from Cake: A knee-length dress with front surplice (mock wrap) neckline, short kimono sleeves and an easily customisable midriff section. The skirt features in-seam pockets and falls in the soft folds of a vintage half-circle skirt. The pattern includes optional stripes placement guide, cup sizing A-D and a bust alteration line.

Multi-sized  (Beginner)    £12.00

Clara ‘cute’ felt animal kits now in stock …..

The healthy option to an Easter Egg!  Why not try one of these easy to make kits with everything included – needle, thread, pins, natural fibre felt, stuffing etc.  All you need is a pair of scissors, although the felt shapes are already part cut out.  Suggested age is 8 years +. All the animals live together on Acorn Crescent and have lovely little stories to tell.  Finished size around 16 x 16 cm for the smaller animals to 20 x 20 cm for the larger ones.  £14.99.  Ideal to get younger ones sewing along with Mum, Aunt or older sister, but equally satisfying for adults – very theraputic!

Just back from the Country Living Fair in London …

Thanks to all the customers who visited the Stand – it was lovely to put a face to the name.  Lots of lovely goodies to buy at the Show.  Loved the Decopatch Stand (decorating all manor of objects with decopatch paper – brilliant)

and was very tempted by the gorgeous Tweed Country clothing on sale at Think I Should (www.thinkishould.com) from Scotland.

Enjoy your Easter sewing!
