The Royal Wedding will no doubt inspire many wedding dresses and bridesmaids dresses to be lovingly sewn this summer.  Did you know – Sewbox stocks 33 ‘Special Occasions’ Kwik Sew patterns for every member of the wedding party – brides, bridesmaids, page boys, mother of the bride, best man etc etc ….

New Colette patterns coming soon to Sewbox – Violet & Ginger

Colette have added 2 new patterns to their range – both of which are on their way to Sewbox from the US and will be in stock within a week

Violet is a beautiful and timeless blouse with peter pan collar, a neckline that doesn’t sit too high, a gentle and loose fit, and lots of room for creative variation. Stay tuned to the Colette website blog in the coming weeks, because Rachel has been working on some fun tutorials for adding little touches to this one!

Ginger is a versatile a-line skirt with three different waistband variations! You can make it with a straight waistband, a shaped curved waistband, or a pointed waistband. Version 3 even offers a bias cut… make it in stripes for the fun chevron look shown above!

The best part is that both patterns come with wonderful instructions, making them a great choice for even new sewists. We’ve included extra definitions, tips, and even links to some of our online tutorials for more info on techniques!

Don’t forget – the Sewbox ‘stash’ offer is still running ……

Offer –  Free gift for your Sewbox ‘stash’ on all orders with a nett total of £15.00 or over (excluding packing and postage).
